(Clarinda)--The good folks at Iowa State University-Page County Extension and Outreach have added to their fine staff. Tisha French (see photo left) has been recently installed as the Office Assistance Coordinator at the extension office in Clarinda.

French, originally from Decatur County, graduated from Diagonal (a whopping class of seven!) in 1999. From there she attended Iowa Western Community College in Clarinda and also took course work through Buena Vista University where she studied office systems technology and business administration along with finance and banking.

Some of her current job responsibilities include a lot of hands-on work with the 4H newsletter, payroll/bookkeeping and helping to set up continuing education classes like the upcoming commercial and private pesticide courses.

Tisha and her husband, Kenny live in Bedford and have three children: Dylon, Jacob and Carlie. Kenny is a driver for Ken Pratt Trucking in Platte City, Missouri. The French's enjoy camping and vacations with Kenny's large, fun-loving family!

Tisha says she loves her new job and is enjoying time spent with her fellow extension and outreach co-workers.
