(Red Oak)--Strong leadership continues to be one of the main themes of Alan Spencer's Red Oak FFA Chapter as the group of young people moves forward with a full head of steam into 2013.

Dallas Haas, (right in photo) is enjoying her responsibilities as chapter president as the Red Oak senior runs the FFA meetings and helps to guide her fellow officers as they take care of their respective duties.

Dallas loves FFA because involvement has made her a better speaker, given her more confidence and has encouraged her to not be as nervous about things that may be out of her comfort zone.

Tatum Allensworth, (left in photo) works hard as the Red Oak FFA Chapter Recorder at the Tiger sophomore makes sure the public is aware of what's going on through various media sources like radio, newspaper and internet resources like kmaland.com.

Tatum says involvement in FFA has made her a better speaker, she enjoys being able to present herself well and absolutely loves wearing the FFA blue jacket!

Some of the upcoming events Red Oak FFA will be a part of include the Iowa Pork Congress January 24th, the Iowa FFA Legislative Symposium January 28th and the FFA subdistrict contest February 11th in Glenwood.
