Nichols Farms bullish on bulls

(Bridgewater)--When Dave Nichols bought his first Angus 4H heifer at the ripe old age of 13, he had in mind more than just having the winning entry in the Adair County Beef Show, (which he did!) he decided then and there he could make a difference in feeding the world starting with that very first purchase.
Ever since Dave and his "family" of employees have been extremely progressive when it comes to new technology and through substantial growth over the years stands as the 4th largest producer of bulls in the United States, with 400 bulls on-site. He also sells semen and embryos to customers all over the globe.
Joined in the family-run business by his wife, Phyllis, sister-in-law, Lillian and son, Fletcher, along with many loyal employees like Sales Executive, Ross Havens, Dave Nichols' goal for Nichols Farms is always to be the best investment in the beef business.
Dave appreciates all of his customers from around the world and he invites us to his Private Treaty Bull Sale January 26th with 300 bulls to choose from, including PB Angus, PB Simmental, Nichols SX-1 Hybrid, Nichols DX-1 Hybrid and Nichols DSX-2 Composite. Lunch will be at noon with the sale at 1pm.
In the video below Dave and his fine crew explain and demonstrate the merits of "freeze branding" on a young bull at Nichols Farms of Bridgewater, Iowa.
