Details for IT Systems Support Technician

We are looking for someone with a broad technical knowledge to support our IT infrastructure. This person will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and general support of IT systems as well as assist users with questions and troubleshoot problems, primarily via phone or remote connection. Must possess a positive attitude, excellent customer service & communication skills, and the ability to work as a team. This is a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment that requires flexibility, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to change focus easily from one task/project to another routinely. All members of our IT department share in after-hours call support on a rotating basis.


The successful candidate will be able to:

·         Communicate difficult concepts to various audiences

·         Troubleshoot and find the root cause of issues

·         Perceive the needs for hardware, software, and other tools to improve users’ ability to do their jobs

·         Effectively manage his/her time with respect to deadlines, priority changes, and interruptions


The successful candidate will have the following experience and/or education in some combination:

·         PC/laptop hardware & software maintenance

·         Windows 7 / Windows 10

·         Windows Server / 2008 / 2012

·         Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook

·         Office 365 and Azure

·         Active Directory

·         Networking / Servers

·         Backup / Disaster Recovery

·         Printers
