Chocolate Tarts
1/2 cup softened butter
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
In a small bowl, beat butter and cream cheese until blended, beat in flour. Drop dough by tablespoons into greased miniature muffin cups, press onto bottoms and up the sides. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely. In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips with the cream over low heat, stir until blended. Transfer to a small bowl, cover & refrigerate until firm. Then beat the chocolate mixture until soft peaks form. Pipe or spoon into the tart shells. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream or powdered sugar. Yields: 2 dozen
