Novae H&H merger

(Clarinda) -- An Indiana-based company has reached an agreement to acquire H&H Trailers in Clarinda.

Novae Corporation -- which is headquartered in Markle, Indiana -- announced earlier this week that it has reached an agreement to acquire the assets of the Clarinda trailer manufacturer. Under the agreement, H&H Trailer's facilities in Clarinda will continue to operate independently under the Novae Corporation group and will retain the H&H brand.

"The two companies and their brands are well respected in the trailer industry, and together bring a very diverse and valuable range of proven products and services to the dealer base," said Mark Yde, Director of Business Development for Novae Corp. "The North American dealer networks are highly complementary, and the commitment to growth through innovation, quality and outstanding customer service is common in the cultures within these two organizations."

Novae currently owns the Sure-Trac brand of utility, dump and cargo trailers, which are manufactured in four plants in Indiana and sold through a network of independent dealers. The financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
