(Clarinda) -- Two people suffered injuries in a crash in Clarinda.
Clarinda Police say the accident occurred at around 5:30 in the evening Tuesday. A vehicle driven by 31-year-old Dawn Hallene Pullen of Clarinda was westbound on Lincoln Street and 61-year-old Joann Joyce Rogers of Clarinda was northbound on 14th Street. Both vehicles entered the intersection at the same time and collided. Pullen's vehicle traveled northbound through the yard of a home on east Lincoln Street and came to rest. Rogers' vehicle came to rest at the northwest corner of 14th and Lincoln Streets.
Rogers and a passenger in Pullen's vehicle, 10-year-old Xander Pullen were both taken by Clarinda Ambulance to Clarinda Regional Health Center for treatment of possible injuries. Dawn Pullen was uninjured in the crash. Rogers was cited for failure to yield.
