(Des Moines, IA) -- A 27-year-old Des Moines man is accused of selling four different kinds of drugs out of his townhouse. Investigators had worked three months building a case before arresting Jean Raoul Descollin Wednesday. Narcotics detectives seized more than 230-thousand dollars worth of marijuana, meth, cocaine and heroin. Police spokesman Sergeant Paul Parizek says officers have responded to six heroin overdoses in the city in the past few days.

(Kellogg, IA) -- A central Iowa man has died after getting trapped in a grain bin. Emergency responders were called to the farm near Kellogg just after 8:00 A-M Thursday. They were able to pull 78-year-old David William "Bill" Hotger out of the bin, but he died after being rushed to a Des Moines hospital in a helicopter. The Polk County Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy on Hotger's body.

(Tipton, IA) -- When police in Durant arrest a suspect, they're going to have to find another jail to hold them. Cedar County Sheriff Warren Wethington says he doesn't trust the officers in Durant. He says one of the three Durant police officers has a record of being untruthful and using questionable force. Sheriff Wethington says he can't vouch for the integrity of any arrests made in Durant. The officer singled out by the sheriff, Robert Smith, is the husband of Cedar County Board of Supervisors chairperson Dawn Smith.

(Storm Lake, IA) -- Storm Lake police have taken six teenagers into custody for their roles in two big fights last week. One was in Awaysis Park and the second was on the campus of Buena Vista University. Police say two 17-year-old suspects were taken into custody for the first fight, with one charged as an adult. Three 18-year-old suspects and one 16-year-old are being held in the second fight. No names have been released. All are charged with disorderly conduct and one of the 17-year-old suspects is charged with two counts of assault.
