(St. Louis, MO) -- The state has submitted a list of deficiencies it says Planned Parenthood’s St. Louis clinic has had to a court. It wants a St. Louis Circuit Court judge to reconsider a decision ordering Missouri officials to determine the renewal of the clinic’s license by next Friday. The Department of Health says its investigation is reviewing incidents with “significant medical evidence” pointing to “troubling instances and deviations” from standard care, resulting in serious patient harm. Last month, Planned Parenthood filed a lawsuit against the state claiming Missouri is weaponizing the licensing process and refuses to renew its license.
