The Omaha City Council will take a similar vote on June 18th. Plans call for the juvenile justice center to be built near 18th and Harney in Omaha.

Thirty-five-year-old Jeremy Knott was transported from his home to Creighton University Medical Center and passed away yesterday. The cause of Knott's death has not been revealed. Knott joined the Omaha Fire Department in 2007 and became a fire apparatus engineer in 2013.

Officials say the Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority's campus will be a "no go zone" for Lime's smartphone scooter application. Electric scooter riders will be limited to five-miles-per-hour in areas around College World Series venues, and riders cannot end their trips in the "no go zone."
