(Omaha, NE) -- A major construction project impacting Interstates 80 and 680 in Omaha is underway. Work on the roads parallel to Interstate-680 near West Center Road started yesterday. Officials say crews will repair the side roads first before moving to the interstate. Work on the Interstate-80/680 interchange will start May 28th and it should be complete in the fall.

(Bellevue, NE) -- A flood-damaged mobile home park in Bellevue is ready to take legal action against the owners of their community. Flood victims at Paradise Lakes are calling for the community's owners to return their damage deposits. Officials say the mobile home park was destroyed in last month's floods and has to be torn down because of contamination. Legal Aid of Nebraska officials say they have heard from Paradise Lakes residents, but they are not saying what action is being taken.

(Lincoln, NE) -- A man is under arrest in connection with a deadly crash in Lincoln. Nineteen-year-old Marvin Rivas-Villanueva was taken into custody yesterday and charged with motor vehicle homicide. Authorities say Rivas-Villanueva was speeding on a wet roadway near O Street and Lyncrest Drive when he crashed into oncoming traffic on March 29th. A passenger, 23-year-old Jared Williams, was killed and three other people were injured in the crash.

(Omaha, NE) -- An annual summer celebration will not take place in Omaha this year. Organizers of the Memorial Park Celebrates America concert say the event will not be held at Omaha's Memorial Park this year because potential sponsors are focusing on flood recovery in Nebraska and Iowa. The annual concert is held in advance of Independence Day, and organizers hope to resume the event next year.
