(Stanton) -- A Stanton man is in custody on an assault charge.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrested 44-year-old Marshall Larry Adams around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Adams was arrested in connection to an assault investigation in Villisca.
He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail on $1,000 bond.
