(Clarinda) -- A number of rural water customers in southwest Iowa and northwest Missouri are without water Saturday morning.
Officials with Southwest Regional Water District say a 10-inch water main break under the Tarkio River north of Highway 2 is causing outages and reduced water pressure to a number of customers.
Crews estimate limited services could be returned within 24 hours due to the height of the river and job site conditions. Anyone with questions, should contact the Southwest Regional Water District office at (712) 303-0193.
