KMAland Softball

(KMAland) -- Shenandoah handled Sidney, St. Albert beat LC for the first time in 25 years, Mo Valley shutout F-M, West Harrison won their 10th straight & Lenox, NV, Murray & Melcher-Dallas won at the O-M Tournament.

NC: Shenandoah 11 Sidney 2 

Logan Hughes doubled twice, singled once, drove in a run and scored two times to lead Shenandoah in the win. Nichole Gilbert added a 3-for-4, two-RBI game, and Sara Morales and Delanie Voshell each drove in two runs.

Voshell struck out six in five innings, giving up just two runs (one earned) on two hits. Nichole Gilbert threw the final two shutout innings.

Olivia Larsen had two hits for Sidney. Myrna Rodriguez also hit safely once for the Cowgirls.

NC: Red Oak 7 Abraham Lincoln 1 

Lexi Johnson went 3-for-4 with a triple, two singles, two runs scored and two RBI, and Chloe Johnson added a pair of hits and two runs scored to lead Red Oak in the win.

Maddie Wendt chipped in a pair of hits, including a double, and drove in two.

H-10: St. Albert 7 Lewis Central 2 — 8 inn 

Lainey Sheffield blasted a two-run home run to lead St. Albert in their first win over Lewis Central in 25 years.

Haley Bach had a triple and two RBI for Lewis Central. 

NC: Carroll 6 Denison-Schleswig 3 

Alex Mohr homered, and Sarah Heilesen had two doubles, a single and an RBI for Denison-Schleswig in the defeat.

NC: Missouri Valley 10 Fremont-Mills 0 

Emma Jimmerson stayed hot with three hits, including a double, drove in two and scored twice to lead the Mo Valley offense. Maddy Lager added two hits and two RBI, and Lauren Austin also drove in two.

Julia Janssen threw six no-hit innings, struck out four and walked three for the Lady Reds.

WIC: IKM-Manning 13 Tri-Center 1 

Joanna Freese doubled, drove in three and scored three times for IKM-Manning. Lexi Branning added two hits, an RBI and three runs scored. Bianca Cadwell allowed just one run (unearned) on one hit and struck out three in three innings.

O-M TOURNAMENT: Lenox 15 Mormon Trail 0 

TJ Stoaks struck out eight and finished with a second no-hitter this season. She also singled, doubled and drove in three runs. McKinna Hogan had two hits and two RBI, and Cassidy Nelson added two hits and three Rbi for Lenox.

O-M TOURNAMENT: Nodaway Valley 5 Orient-Macksburg 1 

Natalie Yonker struck out seven and allowed one unearned run on three hits for the Wolverines. Alyssa Davis doubled among two hits and drove in three, and Maddax DeVault chipped in two hits and scored two runs.

Kaela Eslinger, Cortney Gross and Hayli Shinn hit safely for the Bulldogs.

O-M TOURNAMENT: Melcher-Dallas 12 East Union 2 

Melcher-Dallas had 10 hits and scored three runs in the first and two in the second on their way to the win.

Mikala Sanson had a double among two hits and scored a run while Noelle McKnight singled, scored and drove in one for East Union.

NC: Wayne 10 Moravia 0 

Sterling Berndt hit her first home run of the season to lead Wayne.

NC: Southeast Warren 16 Grand View Christian 9 

Breanna Nolte went 4-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI, and AJ Dorsey added two hits and three RBI for the Warhawks. Alivia Ruble added two hits and three runs scored, and Kaylee Bauer, Taylor Clendenen and Brooklynn Page had two RBI each.

RVC: Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton 4 Woodbine 1 

Mollie Rasmussen went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI to lead Exira/EHK while Alisa Partridge had two hits, two runs scored, two stolen bases and an RBI. Macy Emgarten was the winning pitcher with nine strikeouts and allowed just two hits.

Amanda Foster led Woodbine with two hits.

RVC: Coon Rapids-Bayard 11 CAM, Anita 5

Katelyn Winnett went 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBI, and Lexie and Lacie Davis had three hits apiece for the Crusaders.

RVC: West Harrison 18 Boyer Valley 1 

Haley Koch had a pair of hits and drove in four runs while Cheyanne Rife added a hit, two RBI and three runs scored for the Hawkeyes. Katie Gore and Emily McIntosh also had two hits.

Nicole Behrendt had a pair of hits for Boyer Valley.

O-M TOURNAMENT: Murray 14 Diagonal 1 

Murray’s Bre Klein had two hits, two RBI and three runs scored while Kendra Boles drove in three and Hailey Chew had a pair of RBI.
