(Shenandoah) -- Nebraska football fans will want to make their way to the Shenandoah Elks Lodge on Satruday evening.

The Elks are presenting the DVD release part of the new Nebraska Cornhusker football documentary, "Through These Gates," a film by Ryan Tweedy.  The event begins with a Social Hour at 6:00 with the screening to begin at 7:00.

The film is an exploration of Nebraska Cornhusker football, and the fans that support them.  Tickets are $10, and are available at the door.

DVD and Blu-Ray copies will be available of the movie.  Shenandoah native Dave Max will also be there with his book, "50 Years of Husker Memories."

KMA Sports talked with Max for Wednesday's Sports Feature and he says this screening is the final stop on a 60+ stop tour that has spanned 16 states.  Max has been on the tour, which traveled north along the east coast over the past week and a half and he says this is a great film, which isn't just about Nebraska football.

The full interview with Max can be heard at 9:15 AM as well as 1:45 and 6:20 PM, or by clicking the audio link below.
