(Platte City, MO) -- A 25-year-old Pennsylvania man faces a felony charge of making a terrorist threat after a standoff last week which shut down traffic on Interstate 29 in northwest Missouri.

Khrurshed Haydarov barricaded in his truck at a rest area near Dearborn for more than four hours. The armed trucker was taken into custody after he had been accused of pointing a rifle at passing cars and trucks. The rest area was evacuated. Nobody was injured during the incident.

Haydarov is being held in the Platte County Jail on $100,000 cash bond.
