(Red Oak) -- A Red Oak man was jailed Tuesday on animal neglect charges.
The Red Oak Police Department says officers arrested 39-year-old Jaredy Michael Nyquist around 7:45 p.m. in the 700 block of East Oak Street. Nyquist was arrested on a charge of animal neglect resulting in death -- a serious misdemeanor.
Nyquist was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and was held on $1,000 bond.
