(Shenandoah) -- Runners will now be able to use the Wabash Trace Nature Trail Marathon as a way to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
Race officials received word that the course has been certified by the USA Track and Field Road Running Technical Council for a period of ten years as long as the course does not change.
The fourth annual marathon, half marathon and marathon relay is scheduled for September 12th. Registrations are still being accepted until September 4th. To register, visit the marathon's Get Me Registered webpage, download a form at SCIA's website or pick one up at the SCIA office in downtown Shenandoah.
In order to qualify for the Boston Marathon, runners must complete a certified course in a specified time depending on their age division.
